I already placed my order - can I change my order?
Possibly. You can change your order while it is still in the “fulfillment” stage. Email us with your changes as soon as possible and we will try to stop and change the order. If the order is past the “fulfillment” stage, it cannot be changed.
My item was damaged during shipping? What do I do?
We’ll get you a replacement asap! If the product was damaged upon arrival, take a photo of the damaged product and email it to email@example.com. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. You will receive a replacement product in place of the return, if we find the return is eligible. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
By placing an order at Westward Wandering Co., you are responsible for the cost of return shipping back to Westward Wandering Co. When returning your item(s), we suggest you insure the package and purchase tracking services for your protection. We do not refund shipping charges. Please note: Only merchandise received by our warehouse can be processed, and only merchandise that is unwashed/unworn can be replaced.
Do you accept exchanges or returns?
Exchanges: Due to the nature of the printing and fulfillment company behind this store, and the limited quantities and sizes of each design and style, we are unable to offer exchanges. If you have questions about sizing prior to purchasing, please reach out to us.
Returns: We accept returns if you are 100% completely unhappy with the product (which makes us sad, but we will try to make it right with you). We also accept returns if we sent you the wrong item (which, of course, we will replace at no charge). The product must be unused and unworn and in the same condition as it was delivered to you. If you need to return a product, please email us first at firstname.lastname@example.org explaining the reason for your return.
My item was lost in the mail - now what?
No problem! Here’s what you need to check: If your package gets lost in transit we will do everything we possibly can to assist you. Products lost in the mail with no confirmation of delivery will be replaced at no charge by us as soon as possible. We have tracking on all of our packages. If the tracking information says it was delivered (check with your neighbors and around your front porch), we cannot replace the product - a ticket will need to be submitted to the carrier who delivered the package.
My order I received is incorrect, what do I do?
We’ll help make it right! Email us explaining what was incorrect. Attach a photo of the product, the size on the tag of the shirt, and the receipt in the package.
If it was an error on the printer’s side, we will get you the correct shirt at no charge and as quickly as possible.
How long will it take to get my package?
For the Trail and Forever Collections, plan for 2-3 weeks to receive your order once it is placed.
For everything else, plan for 1-2 weeks to receive your order once it is placed.
Will I receive tracking information?
No, but it is available upon request.
Why did I only received part of my order?
Expect items in your order to arrive in different packages. Items are sent from different distributors. If you feel that something is missing, please email us, but please plan for 2-3 weeks for your order to arrive.
Can I expedite an order?
Some items are fulfilled locally from the Black Hills (we can expedite those).
Some items are fulfilled at a printing facility outside of our control (we cannot expedite those orders). Email us as soon as possible if you need an order expedited.
How long does it take to get my pre-order item?
These items haven’t been ordered yet. The fulfillment timelines is about 3-4 weeks, and shipping is about one week. Plan on 4-6 weeks to receive your pre-ordered item in the mail.
How long are pre-order items available to purchase?
Pre-ordering will only be available for a short amount of time – usually a week or less in order to get the items into production.
Can I cancel my pre-order purchase?
Yes, if the items haven’t been put into production, you will be refunded in full.
Why was my purchase refunded?
If a minimum quantity isn’t purchased for pre-orders, the items will not be ordered and you will be refunded in full.
PRINTING AND CARE
How are the tshirts printed?
Forever Collection and Trailhead Collection
These two collections use Direct-to-Garment printing (not screenprinting). These tees are fulfilled, printed, and shipped from California, North Carolina, or Florida. The DTG method allows each shirt to be printed individually just for you, one at a time. We do not have any inventory of these shirts in-house.
The colors of the designs will appear slightly faded with a more vintage look to them. This is due to the super softer fabrics I've chosen to print these shirts on.
These items will ship separately from the other collections in the store.
Most, if not all, pieces in the New Collection are now printed locally through Ink Imprints in Rapid City. Ink Imprints has been an integral part of the store transition, and we are super happy to be partnering with them for our shirts. When you buy from the New Collection, you are supporting two local Black Hills businesses.
What's the best way to wash my apparel?
Hand-washing apparel is always the best way to preserve articles of clothing, but I have found very little shrinkage with all of Westward Wandering Co.'s clothing items when machine-washed inside out and air dryed.
Why did you start Westward Wandering Co.?
You can read the full story here, but in short, we wanted to create a more modern, trendy clothing brand that represented the lifestyle of our unique area. Since 2015, we’ve shipped to 36 states and 3 countries, and have had support pour in from all over the world for our brand.
What are your business hours?
Since this is an online store, you can shop at any time of day! Emails sent over the weekend will be answered on the following business day. Please allow two days for us to respond during the week.
Did you create all the designs for Westward Wandering Co.?
Yes, we own the copyright to all clothing designs, ideas, collections and creative content on this website and the blog.
Do you offer your shirts in any retail stores in the Black Hills?
